Description
The Gospel of John is the most important book in the Bible. It is the only book written to tell unbelievers what they must do to have everlasting life now and forever (John 20:30-31). Three words dominate Jesus’ evangelistic message: Jesus, believe, and life. We might summarize His message in this sentence:
Whoever believes in Jesus has everlasting life (John 3:16).
Grace in Focus Study Series
Studies vary in length from twelve to fifteen weeks to fit a semester in Sunday School. Each week, students are given commentary to help them grapple with the verses for that week. Following the commentary are questions designed to cause them to meditate on key issues in the text.
There is a separate teacher’s guide for each study. The author of each study writes out his or her answers to the questions. The teacher’s guide is recommended for both students and teachers. However, students are encouraged not to read the corresponding section in the teacher’s guide until they have answered all the questions and had the in-class discussion.
